Tarantillo is an AI-powered video creation platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Tarantillo, you agree to the practices described here. See also our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details through our identity provider (WorkOS).
- Content you provide: Text, images, audio, and other materials you upload or create within Tarantillo for video projects.
- Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product.
- Device and connection information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and similar technical data collected automatically when you access the service.
- Payment information: If you purchase credits or subscriptions, payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the service, including generating scripts, images, audio, and video based on your inputs.
- To process payments and manage your credit balance and subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests.
- To improve the service through analytics, usage patterns, and feedback.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
AI Processing
- Tarantillo uses third-party AI services to generate content. Your inputs (text prompts, uploaded images, and project settings) are sent to these providers solely to produce the requested output.
- AI-generated content (scripts, images, audio) is stored in your account and is not used to train third-party AI models.
- We use providers including OpenRouter (script generation), fal.ai (image generation), and ElevenLabs (audio generation). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data during processing.
Third-Party Services
- WorkOS: Authentication and identity management.
- Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
- PostHog: Product analytics and feature flags. We use this to understand usage patterns and improve the product.
- Cloudflare: Infrastructure, hosting, and content delivery.
- OpenRouter, fal.ai, ElevenLabs: AI content generation as described in the AI Processing section.
- Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies for details on their data practices.
Data Retention
- Your account information is retained as long as your account is active.
- Project content (videos, images, audio, scripts) is retained until you delete the project or your account.
- Usage analytics data is retained in aggregated form and is not linked to individual users after 90 days.
- If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Cookies and Tracking
- We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are required for the service to function.
- We use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the service is used. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using a tracking blocker.
- We do not sell your data to advertisers or use third-party advertising cookies.
Your Rights
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You can update your account information at any time through the settings page.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us. Project data can be deleted directly from the dashboard.
- Export: You can download your generated videos and project content at any time.
- Objection: You can object to certain processing activities, such as analytics tracking.

Children's Privacy
- Tarantillo is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
- If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date.
- If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the service or by email.
- Continued use of Tarantillo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
